Where do polar bears go when the ice melts in the tundra? The Chesapeake Bay of course! As they migrate south for food, jobs, and to participate in the MSP Polar Bear Plunge, one sick bear ends up in the E.R. at Anne Arundel Medical Center with a bad case of Montage-itis. Unfortunately the attending physician is the bitter, acidic, chain saw wielding Dr. Gregory House. Luckily Dr. House's Doritos loving, Special Olympics MD athlete, and Galaga gamer Jimmy Myrick is by his side. Jimmy works to save the Bear with some....umm Bayer aspirin. It’s Plungapalooza 2010 featuring the MSP Polar Bear Plunge and it’s THE event of winter! Save the date and be a part of the coolest event of the year alongside Ravens players Joe Flacco and Adam Terry, World Champion Figure Skater Kimmie Meissner, Channel 11 media personalities, 98 Rock’s Mickey, Amelia & Spiegel; Sarah “The Queen” Fleisher; Stash, and Maryland's Governor - Martin O'Malley. An estimated 25-30,000 people are expected to take part in the festivities, including of course the thousands upon thousands who will dare to bare it all and take a chilly dip in the Chesapeake for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland!
